American sports car fans love the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Whether you’ve visited before or have never heard of it, it’s always a good time to plan a trip and check out some of the museum’s amazing collection of cars.
National Corvette Museum
The National Corvette Museum is one of the world’s most popular automotive museums. It opened in 1994 and is currently in the process of expanding its facility — two new stories will add another 30,000 square feet to make space for special exhibits, an educational center for kids, and a lounge for lifetime members.
Currently, the museum has several great exhibits to explore. Learn about the sinkhole that opened up in the museum back in 2014, keep your kids entertained at the Corvette KidZone, take a look at each generation of the Corvette in the Skydome, and more.
NCM Motorsports Park
Doing your visit to the museum, you can also check out the NCM Motorsports Park located just across the street from the main facility. The complex is the perfect place for sports car enthusiasts to get behind the wheel of the latest mid-engine Corvette C8 and improve their driving skills.
If you love Corvettes or simply have an appreciation for awesome sports cars, make sure to visit the National Corvette Museum! And if the visit gives you a taste for Corvettes, you can always place an order for your own at Champion Chevrolet Buick GMC in La Grange, Kentucky!
