Chevrolet at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show
Chevrolet had a wide range of vehicles on display at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show in February, from the eco-friendly Bolt EV to the powerful Silverado 1500. But the biggest offerings the brand brought to the show were its two all-new models: the 2019 Blazer and the 2020 Silverado HD.
2019 Chevrolet Blazer
The sleek new 2019 Chevrolet Blazer is a mid-size crossover seating five passengers. It boasts impressive performance, with a towing capacity rated at 4,500 pounds. Consumers can select between two engines: a four-cylinder that churns out 193 horsepower and a V6 that yields 305 horsepower. Both engines pair with a nine-speed transmission. The Blazer’s sleek black interior comes with smart features like a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone integration, so passengers can stay connected with favorite apps and communicate with personal contacts. Its four trim levels deliver features like heated seats and remote start for comfort and convenience. A 360-degree camera and forward collision warning are just two of the advanced technologies this model includes to increase safety.
2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD
The 2020 Silverado HD starts the new generation of heavy-duty Silverado trucks with its debut at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show. This model puts forth better capabilities and features, as well as more storage space than previous model years. The new Silverado HD’s maximum towing capacity is a whopping 35,500 pounds. And with its 15 different camera views, luxury features like a heated steering wheel, and a sunroof, you get an elevated and protected drive each time you take it on the road.
