One Spooky Louisville Halloween!
As Halloween approaches, there are lots of Louisville Halloween activities that the entire family can enjoy. Here are just a few events to check out this October.
Louisville Halloween Parade & Festival
Taking place on Oct. 5, the Louisville Halloween Parade & Festival has been providing family-friendly entertainment for 17 years. Be sure to dress up and catch the parade at 6 p.m. and enjoy the food and craft booths.
The Louisville Zoo
Between Oct. 3 and 27, the Louisville Zoo throws Halloween parties, where children can meet storybook characters and go trick-or-treating. There are decorated pumpkins, a giant maze and a carousel to enjoy as you make your way around the zoo.
Family Fright Night
The LMPD is hosting a free Family Fright Night on Oct. 27. The 1st Division will have a haunted hospital theme, while the waiting area gives children the opportunity to go trick-or-treating.
Located in historic Iroquois Park, the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular features displays of more than 5,000 carved jack-o-lanterns in different themed scenes. You can view the stunning sights between Oct. 8 and Nov. 3.
